OPI has opened its vault for its 45th anniversary, bringing favourite nail colours

OPI is going back in time for its 45th anniversary and anyone with a soft spot for a great manicure is going to want to listen up.

The beauty brand has opened its famous colour vault to bring back some of its most requested nail shades , including cult favourites that have not been available for years.

OPI’s Most Requested Collection , a nostalgic line-up that gives old-school polish fans plenty to get excited about while adding a few new twists to the mix.

Because there is nothing quite like finding your perfect nail colour, wearing it religiously and then discovering it has been retired.

OPI says the collection was inspired by the shades fans have continued asking about long after they disappeared from the line-up.

Among the returning favourites are Every Month is Oktoberfest , Route Beer Float and Mrs. O’Leary’s BBQ, all making their way back into the spotlight.

OPI co-founder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann explains that the brand retires select shades each year to make room for new launches. But some colours have a habit of developing their own fan clubs.

For its 45th anniversary, OPI decided to revisit those much-requested shades and bring retired favourites back into the spotlight as part of the wider celebration.

The collection spans Nail Lacquer, Infinite Shine and xPRESS/ON options , with the shades drawing from both OPI’s archive and its newer interpretations of iconic colours.

So if you have ever had a favourite polish disappear from the shelves, this is your chance to see whether your old manicure obsession has made a comeback.

The 12 shades available at Myer are priced at $26.95 each , making them an easy beauty pick-up for anyone looking to refresh their nail colour collection.

And with a line-up that moves from deep purple and burgundy to soft pink, bright cranberry, bronzed brown and sparkling taupe, choosing just one could prove to be the hardest part.
