Wedding of the week: Couple tie the knot after love-at-first-sight moment

Alphonsus met Maria in Lake Danao in the Philippines, when he became “star stuck” at the woman next to his family’s floating cottage.

He built up the courage to ask for her name and number, and the rest was history.

And for the bride, it was hearing her husband’s heartfelt, tear-jerking vows.

The couple tied the knot at Old Tower House in Perth on August 9, 2026.

The newlyweds are still planning their honeymoon, but are thinking of a trip to Bali.

If you would like to be featured, submit your wedding details and high-res photos to [email protected] .

Include details of when, where, dress information, honeymoon, and anything that made your big day special.
