Baldivis: Fire decimates family home on Candela Parkway as occupant is treated for burns

A family home has been decimated after an angry fire tore through it in the early evening.

The blaze took hold of a home on Candela Parkway in Baldivis, a suburb in Perth’s south, on Monday just after 5pm.

An occupant was treated for burns at the scene but didn’t require hospitalisation.

DFES firefighters rushed to the blaze, which had been extinguished within the hour.

Fire officers were expected back on the scene, which has been corderned off, Tuesday morning.
