Husband uses robot vacuum to catch wife cheating then goes to jail for secretly filming her

A husband who used a robot vacuum cleaner to catch his wife cheating has been sent to jail after a court found he invaded her privacy.

The Taiwan-based man secretly activated the camera on the robot vacuum and captured footage of his wife with another man inside their holiday home.

He then used the footage in divorce proceedings after they were married in 2021.

But while his wife was ordered to pay him damages over the affair, the husband was later slapped with a five-month jail sentence for secretly filming her.

The extraordinary case began after the husband became suspicious when he found a toothbrush that belonged to neither him nor his wife at their holiday home.

The husband then checked CCTV footage from outside the property and allegedly discovered a man repeatedly dropping his wife home.
