Police say sudden death of Queensland mum Payge Leembruggen is ‘non-suspicious’

Police are now treating the sudden death of Queensland mum Payge Leembruggen as “non-suspicious” days after her body was found next to a popular beach.

The body of Ms Leembruggen, 31, was found by a member of the public near Mackay Harbour North Wall on Tuesday morning.

The woman’s death is now being treated as non-suspicious, a Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed.

“Police will prepare a report for the coroner after the death of a 31-year-old Mount Jukes woman earlier this week is now being treated as non-suspicious,” the spokesperson said.

“Officers and the woman’s family would like to sincerely thank members of the community for their assistance, information, and support throughout the investigation.”
