Manchester City set to sell Savinho and Omar Marmoush to Spurs for combined £160m

Enzo Maresca confirms Savinho asked to leave club Marmoush has not done so but also likely to depart City Enzo Maresca has revealed Savinho made clear his desire to leave Manchester City on “day one” of his tenure but that Omar Marmoush has not asked to depart the club as the pair move close to joining Tottenham for £85m and £75m respectively.

Savinho signed for the City Football Group in the summer of 2022 for €40m (£30.8m), first joining Troyes, so the prospective sale of the 22-year-old for £85m represents a near £55m profit for City’s owners.

Marmoush, meanwhile, was bought in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt for about £59m but, as with Savinho, the Egypt forward was not a regular starter under Pep Guardiola, due to having to compete with Erling Haaland.
