A teenage cyclist has been rescued from beneath a four-wheel drive after a crash in the Adelaide Hills on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to Ironbank Rd at Ironbank just before 9am following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle.

The 19-year-old Upper Sturt man had reportedly fallen from his bike on a bend before being struck by an approaching 4WD.
