HYROX Perth 2026: Local gym enthusiasts gearing up for massive weekend of fitness at PCEC
Perth gym enthusiasts are getting their last minute prep in ahead of a massive weekend of fitness in the third ever HYROX Perth event.
Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Friday to Sunday, it will see thousands of fitness fanatics compete in a closed, indoor circuit testing their strength and endurance.
Open to individual male and female athletes, doubles, relay groups, or adaptive division athletes, the course will see participants complete eight 1km running legs intertwined with eight separate workout stations.
Lauched in 2017 in Germany, the “world series of fitness racing” has truly garnered international support, with upwards of 100 global events scheduled in 2026.
While the sport maintains an international leaderboard of elite athletes, with each course replicated across the world, events are designed to accommodate athletes at an amateur level who wish to test their fitness in an arena-like environment.
Members who train through HYROX-affiliated training clubs are often eligible for exclusive perks and early ticket releases.
In response to the countdown on social media, local competitors expressed their excitement over what promises to be a high-energy experience.
