Easy limoncello biscuits with just five ingredients

A simple five-ingredient treat is bringing a taste of Italy to the kitchen — with a fresh, zesty twist.

Online foodie favourite Amanda Please has shared her easy recipe for limoncello amaretti, combining almond meal, lemon zest and a splash of the Italian liqueur to create crisp, chewy biscuits.

The mum-of-three has built a huge following with her fuss-free recipes after she began posting videos while off work with a back injury last year.

Her content quickly took off, with her Christmas recipes going viral and turning the side project into a rapidly growing online platform.

Now, she has joined The Morning Show to show how to whip up the sweet treat using just a handful of ingredients.

1. Preheat oven to 170°C fan-forced and line a baking tray with baking paper.

4. Add the limoncello and lemon zest, then mix until a soft dough forms.

6. Generously coat each ball in the extra icing sugar and place on the lined tray.

7. Bake for 20 minutes, until crisp on the outside and soft and chewy in the centre.
