Aaron Phypers accuses Denise Richards of missing support payments

Denise Richards' estranged husband has claimed he has had to move to a "humblingly cheap place" and can't even afford fuel because she hasn't been paying him enough spousal support.

The couple have been locked in a bitter split since they went their separate ways in July 2025 after six years of marriage, and though the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was ordered to pay him $5,000 a month in temporary support earlier this year, the 53-year-old wellness practitioner has claimed she hasn't been handing over the full amount, leaving him struggling.

According to a court declaration obtained by TMZ, Aaron alleged Denise owes him more than $23,000 in unpaid support, which led to him being evicted from the property he was living in and left without power, water, gas or cell phone access. He claimed his car has also been repossessed and he couldn't even afford fuel to drive to his lawyer's office.

He has now moved with his family to a “humblingly cheap place not far from my attorney’s office" but has been unable to restart his business and bring in any money himself because Denise admitted to destroying his phone, which contained all his contacts, last year.

When Denise was ordered to make the support payments in February, Judge Bershon itemised the monthly $5,000 sum as $2,000 for rent, $1,000 for a car, $1,000 for food and the remaining sum for miscellaneous expenses.

Aaron told the court he had only $200 to his name and said the ruling would “certainly help” but that he was taking matters “one day at a time”.

But according to the California Post, the World Is Not Enough actress muttered she could not “afford” the payments when the decision was announced.

Denise, 55, also told the court she “could barely pay for (her) attorney” and had been “blowing through everything” she was making during her marriage to Aaron, which lasted from 2018 to 2025.

Her lawyer, Mark Gross, argued the financial burden of caring for Denise’s 15-year-old daughter Eloise, who has a rare chromosomal disorder resulting in developmental delays, was “pretty extraordinary”.

Referencing Denise being granted a permanent restraining order against Aaron in November 2025, he said: “Victims of abuse shouldn’t be required to support their abuser.”

Aaron’s lawyer responded that the Quantum 360 founder has not been convicted of the charges.

In January, Denise reflected on what she described on Instagram as a “painful year” of “letting go (and) truths being exposed”.

Denise was previously married to Charlie Sheen, with whom she shares daughters Sami and Lola.

Aaron was previously married to actress Nicollette Sheridan before their divorce in 2018.
