Bigfoot investigators baffled by 'inhuman' sighting

Bigfoot investigators have been left baffled by a sighting of a human-like creature wading through a pond in New York state.

A hiker - named only as Kelly - went out for a walk through woodland in Onondaga County on August 10 when she spotted a "strange" beast in the water standing upright and seemingly wading in the shallows and she shared pictures with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO).

Now BFRO Investigator Matthew Moneymaker has insisted the strange sighting is unlikely to be a human. Speaking on the Planet Tyrus podcast, he explained: "When she saw the thing, she didn't know what it was, she thought it was a person ... Her boyfriend sent them to us and said could this be a sasquatch ...

"Our guy in Syracuse goes out there and investigates its stature and finds out it the things stands only at around 4 foot nine ... So that stature and the strange part about the face, body stature and form for something that would be that tall.

"We thought that would be such an unusual person, someone who would stand out in the community ... if we just get these photos out there ... Somebody will be able to tell us that they recognise him or they know who this person is. We've had these photos put there, they've gone out to hundreds of thousands of people and nobody is stepping forward...

He went on to add the sighting may not have been a Bigfoot, explaining: "There are legends of things called little people that are supposed to live near swamp there's more native american legends about them than there is modern legends of them ...

"These are distinctly different to Bigfoot characters ... You might think it's a human if you see it from a distant but only when you take a picture and zoom in ... do you realise this doesn't look like a normal human. It could be explainable ...

"Those stories are in Alaska, in Wyoming and commonality is these things are seen near swamps."

Kelly also appeared on the podcast and admitted the strange sighting left her spooked, saying: "It really took my by surprise ... as I was snapping the second picture the thing turned its head and looked right at me which really creeped me out ... I got a really creeped out feeling ...

"The first thing I thought was: 'What the f*** is going on. Why is there someone in this pond?'

"When I got there i was alone there were no other cars in the parking lot ... When I looked at the pictures I was twice as freaked out ...

"The only thing I noticed was the arms and the arms seemed to move more like an ape than a person ... Like a really weird, awkward swinging movement. "
