A team of St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls students has claimed a national competition title in engineering.
The Year 9 students won the engineering category for their year level at the National da Vinci Decathlon in Sydney, competing against some of Australia’s top private schools.
The team, which won the State finals, also finished second in the ideation category and third in code breaking, science and literature.
The academic competition challenges teams across 10 disciplines to solve complex problems.
