Three-year-old child rescued as NSW Police investigation smashes global pedophile ring

A three-year-old child has been rescued and people from five countries arrested following an Australian investigation into pedophile rings and child abuse.

Seven people across Uruguay, England, Poland, Mexico and the US have been arrested and charged with child abuse offences following a NSW State Crime Command investigation.

Detectives working on strike forces Constantine and Trawler — which respectively investigate child sexual abuse material (CAM) with ritualistic or satanic themes and broader online child-exploitation offending — made urgent referrals to international law enforcement agencies.

A three-year-old child was rescued and placed into protection in one instance after a man from Missouri in the US was caught allegedly posting images and videos of child abuse to an online pedophile ring.

Another 23-year-old man from Missouri who allegedly monitored a chat linked to a pedophile ring was also arrested and charged.

The ring allegedly produced and distributed “extreme CAM (child abuse material) online”.

A man from Gloucestershire in the UK is accused of disclosing the sexual assault of a child known to him online. He has since been charged with child abuse offences following the referral from NSW Police.

The fresh arrests follow a major crackdown on an international satanic pedophile ring.

The international ring allegedly shared devastating videos of children aged from infancy to 12 being sexually abused online.

Six NSW men, including a former police officer, have been charged over their alleged involvement, while investigators have identified an additional 145 people involved across the globe.
