Jennifer Aniston reveals 'deep fear' boyfriend Jim Curtis is helping her overcome

Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Jim Curtis is helping her overcome a "deep fear".

The hypnotherapist is trying to make the actress become a confident public speaker, and his mission started by getting her to moderate the launch event for his new book, The Book of Possibility, at Kaufmann Concert Hall at 92NY Residence in New York City on Wednesday (02.09.26).

After interviewing her 50-year-old boyfriend, whom she went Instagram official with on his birthday last November, the pair invited fans to ask questions, prompting one to ask Jennifer, 57, to share "one possibility [she is] choosing today", per the Daily Mail.

The Friends alum replied that she is "choosing to overcome a very deep, deep fear of public speaking".

Asked how she handles stress, Jennifer responded: "I think I'm doing really well. Deep breaths and meditation.

Transformational coach Jim, meanwhile, admitted he struggled to accept the state of his health in his early 20s, when doctors discovered lesions on his spinal cord, which caused partial paralysis and chronic nerve damage.

He said: "I'm not saying here that if the doctor tells you to do something, you should get up and leave. What I'm saying is you don't have to live as the victim. You don't have to live in your suffering. It can become your power."

Jim encourages people to embrace their health issues - advice he has not always been able to follow himself.

Speaking about walking with a limp, the wellness executive admitted: "I would say I got into a motorcycle accident. I was so shameful that I had a medical condition. I was broken in some way. I thought the motorcycle accident was at least a little macho."

Jim added that 25 years of "self-acceptance and self-love" helped him "overcome" his insecure thoughts.

Days before the event, Jim said he feels "blessed" by his and Jennifer's relationship.

He told The Jamie Kern Lima Show: "It’s going really well. My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving.

"I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving. She uses words like ‘my love.'"

Jim revealed he is getting on well with her "group of best friends", describing them as "family".
