North West, 13, reveals one piercing she isn't allowed

The 13-year-old star, whose parents are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has a passion for piercings - both real and fake - and revealed the accessories are way of expressing herself.

She told Dazed: "They just make you your full self. I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I’m not allowed."

North insisted she likes her own closet "the best", so she wouldn't be trying to raid someone else's wardrobe for outfits.

However, she is open to trying new things in the world of fashion, particularly after her shoot for the magazine.

She added: "I'd wear anything. A few weeks ago, I’d be like, 'Oh hell no!' But now, after today, I’d wear anything for real.

"I like to try new things. But I do like to have my own style. It’s just easy."

Back in 2023, North appeared more open to taking influence from her famous parents' sense of style.

She told i-D magazine: "My mom’s clothes and my dad’s clothes, if they fit me."

North went on to reveal that her favourite style of clothing right now is "vintage T-shirts and Spider sweats" and when asked what her ultimate outfit is, revealed that it is a piece that pays homage to late King of Pop Michael Jackson, which was bought as a gift to her by The Kardashians star Kim.

She said: "My Michael Jackson jacket that my mom got me for Christmas!"

As North continues to find herself, with piercings and blue hair, her mother has defended her fashion journey.

Responding to an article about the child's changing looks back in October 2025, North and Kim's joint TikTok account wrote: "This is such a non-issue."

And that same month, Kim praised her daughter for wanting to do her own thing.

She told the Call Her Daddy podcast: "She’s really mature in one sense where she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this, and I don’t really care that they don’t like... my blue hair or this or that'. She’s really confident.”
