7You reviews Oodie’s summer must-have robes that are perfect for the beach and warmer months

But disruptor Oodie have re-written the rule book once again, dropping summer robes that are as perfect for spring and and summer mornings at home as they are the beach.

The Summer Robe range boasts a host of comfortable, stylish and lightweight designs — all of which are breathable and second-skin-like enough to throw on even on those days where it feels too hot to wear almost everything.

Below, the 7You team try out three of Oodie’s summer robes ahead of the warmer months.

Opting for the Summer Robe in Pink Tile (currently $79) thinking it could be a cute beach cover-up, I was pleasantly surprised when the Oodie Robe arrived at my door.

Softer than I expected it to be, I’ve loved throwing this on after a shower when I’m doing my skincare and fake tan at home.

While it’s not quite warm enough to rock it down to the beach, I will gladly do so with a pink bikini when the temperatures warm up.

Crafted from a cotton-rich fabric feels luxuriously soft on your skin, it’s perfect for when you need to wear something but don’t feel like wearing constricting clothes.

I also love the pretty Grecian-inspired jacquard tile print, which is fun and gives a feeling of summer to my lounging look.

Lastly, I love the fact that the robes have pockets — because what’s not to love about somewhere to store your phone when you’re wafting around the house?

For the budget-friendly price of $79, I love how easy and lightweight this robe is — and it’s small enough to be stuffed in a beach bag for a day by the water.

I’m a sucker for a thick, plush robe during the colder months, but when the weather warms up, I know my trusty gown will be too hot for me and my little apartment.

With the release of The Oodie’s new Summer Robes , I knew I was onto a winner.

Now, my thick gown is hanging on the back of the door, and this lightweight alternative has taken its place , worn in the mornings while I’m getting ready and making my first cuppa of the day.

Keeping in line with my usual colour palette, I opted for a paisley cream colour.
