Three boys charged over alleged rape of teenage girl

Three teenage boys have been charged over the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl.

The three 17-year-old boys were arrested on Wednesday after the girl was allegedly attacked at a home in Sydney's southwest on Saturday.

NSW Police searched several homes in the Macarthur region and seized a number of electronic devices as part of their investigation.

One of the boys has been charged with 11 offences, including six counts of aggravated sex assault in company with others and three counts of rape, NSW Police said in a statement on Thursday.

Another of the boys was charged with six counts of sex assault in company with others, rape and common assault.

The third boy was charged with two counts of aggravated sex assault in company with others.

All three were kept in custody by police overnight and are set to appear in a children's court on Thursday.
