A desperate search is under way for hiker who went missing in a national park in the South Australian Flinders Ranges.
A woman was hiking at Mount Remarkable in Mid North South Australia, about 250km north of Adelaide on Tuesday.
The alarm was raised about 9.15pm when the woman failed to return from the hike.
Polair was deployed on Tuesday night to search the region, with emergency services on the ground to scour the trails for the missing woman.
Police patrols, Mounted Operations and SES volunteers will be at the national park on Wednesday morning to continue the search for the hiker.
