Oprah-loved jeans are coming back to TVSN this September and the flattering denim is seriously

The jeans Oprah Winfrey once singled out for her famous Favourite Things list are making their way back to Australian television screens, and denim fans may want to take note.

NYDJ, the American brand formerly known as Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, is returning exclusively to TVSN this September.

The label, which has built a loyal following around comfortable, flattering denim, was famously included in Oprah’s 2017 Favourite Things list , helping cement its reputation well beyond the world of everyday jeans.

Founded in 2003, NYDJ was created around a straightforward idea: women should not have to choose between feeling comfortable and finding jeans that fit and flatter.

More than two decades later, that approach remains central to the brand.

For Australian shoppers, the return is particularly notable. NYDJ has been a TVSN favourite across Australia and New Zealand for more than 18 years, making its comeback a nostalgic one for longtime fans while introducing a new generation of shoppers to the label.

At the centre of NYDJ’s designs is its signature Lift Tuck® Technology , which features across some of the brand’s best-known styles.

The technology is designed to create a smooth, streamlined fit through the front of the jeans, while the overall construction is focused on comfort and shape.

The denim detail has helped NYDJ develop a reputation for jeans designed with an array of bodies in mind, rather than simply following whichever silhouette happens to be trending.

And that is part of the appeal. While denim trends can move quickly from skinny to wide-leg and back again, a well-fitting pair of jeans remains one of those wardrobe staples worth getting right.

This September, TVSN will bring back three of NYDJ’s recognisable styles : the Marilyn, Barbara and Theresa.

The collection will be available in sizes 8 to 20 , giving Australian shoppers the chance to revisit the label’s signature fits or discover them for the first time.

The Marilyn is among the brand’s signature styles and is designed as an everyday denim option, making it an easy candidate for everything from polished workday outfits to weekend dressing.

The Barbara offers another take on NYDJ’s figure-conscious approach , while the Theresa rounds out the returning collection with another of the label’s established silhouettes.
