Your guide to Entwined in the Swan Valley 2026
Entwined in the Swan Valley is back, turning Western Australia’s oldest wine region into a fortnight-long event filled with long lunches, hands-on masterclasses, farmyard fun and a few genuinely once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Running across two big weekends in October (plus a scattering of weekday sessions in between), the 2026 program is stacked with more than 30 events across the valley’s wineries, breweries, distilleries and paddocks.
We’ve partnered with City of Swan to bring you some of the best things to do at this year’s Entwined in the Valley.
If your idea of a great weekend involves a table, an excellent wine list and nowhere else to be, we’ve got you.
For a high-glamour afternoon, the Rosé Luncheon at Sandalford Wines (October 11) sets up under the trellis on the Verdelho Lawn for a rosé-themed spread built around the winery’s award-winning Winemakers Rosé. Sandalford also goes big after dark with the 1840 @ Sandalford Degustation Dinner (October 16 and 17), a six-course showcase from executive chef Alan Spagnolo matched to the winery’s 1840 range.
Over at Oscar’s in the Valley, the feasting gets serious with a run of premium dinners: the Swan Valley Wine Dinner pairing Chouette Wines and John Kosovich Wines (October 16) the interactive Chef’s Kitchen Table with owner-chef Justin Hughes (October 8 and 15), and the Meat & Whiskey Dinner matching premium whisky with house-cured, smoked WA meats (October 7).
For something a little livelier, Bailey Brewing Co’s bottomless brunch Entwined in the Arbour (October 11) pairs a three-course seasonal menu with bottomless beer and wine and live acoustic music, while Oakover Grounds’ lakeside evening event, Smoke on the Water (October 10), brings fire pits, whisky cocktails and smoky share plates to enjoy as the sun sets.
For dinner with a side of entertainment, RiverBank Estate’s Latino Dinner Show with the Kings Latin Duo (October 17) and Valley Social’s Degustation Dinner & Show (October 11) both pair a multi-course menu with live performance.
Prefer something more low-key? Sittella Wines opens the festival with a Sparkling Brunch (October 10) matching four sparkling wines to four seasonal dishes, and Sin Gin Distillery’s Sip, Slice & Sin (running across both weekends) keeps things casual with gin, cocktails and wood-fired pizza.
Entwined isn’t just about eating and drinking. A huge part of the program is genuinely hands-on, and this is the category for anyone who wants to leave with a new skill.
Top of the list is the Beekeeping & Honey Masterclass at The House of Honey (October 17), where guests suit up as beekeepers before finishing with a honey sensory session. Almost as unique is Talijancich Wines’ From Barrel to Bottle (October 17), which pairs a 25-year vertical of Verdelho with a fortified-blending class using the traditional Solera method - you blend and take home your own bottle.
Sweet tooths should look at Mondo Nougat’s Spring Flavour Creator Masterclass (October 17) or the new evening session, Create and Graze (October 16), both letting guests craft their own nougat flavour from scratch.
