And while chrome feels distinctly contemporary, Jones believes its appeal comes from its ability to bridge eras.

“Chrome has this wonderful ability to feel both nostalgic and contemporary. It has strong associations with mid-century and 1970s design, but right now it feels incredibly fresh again.”
