CCTV footage released amid investigation into alleged kidnapping and assault in Western Sydney

Police have called on the public for help identifying three cars in relation to an alleged kidnapping and assault .

Investigators released CCTV footage of the three vehicles on Saturday, two weeks after a 64-year-old man was allegedly detained at a business on Works Pl in Milperra, Western Sydney .

Police said he was beaten by several men who then stole cash and other items from the business before fleeing.

Paramedics arrived at the business soon after and took the man to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Investigations have remained ongoing and investigators are now asking the public for any information regarding the vehicles allegedly linked to the incident.

The white Toyota Hilux Utility, a silver Toyota Corolla sedan and white Mitsubishi Canter were seen in the vicinity of McGirr St in Padstow, about 5km southeast of the business, just after the incident.

Detectives have called on anyone with information regarding the vehicles or their occupants to come forward.

Anyone with other information, including dashcam or CCTV footage around the time of the incident, has been urged to contact Bankstown Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
