Children among three killed in Russian attack on Kyiv
At least three people, including two children, have been killed in a Russian strike on Kyiv.
Kiev regional military governor Tymur Tkachenko said a girl, a boy and a woman were killed in a Russian strike on the Fastiv district on Saturday evening.
The Kyiv Independent, citing Ukraine's National Police, said the victims were a woman and her two-year-old son, along with a three-year-old girl. It was not clear if the girl was also the woman's daughter.
Kyiv and the surrounding region have been repeatedly targeted since Russia's invasion began more than four-and-a-half years ago, with frequent air raid alerts recently.
