Bruno Fernandes and Khadija Shaw land PFA Player of the Year awards

Fellow players pick Manchester United and Manchester City stars Nico O’Reilly and Olivia Smith collect young players’ honours Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been crowned Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year as Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw won the women’s award for the second time.

Playmaker Fernandes broke the all-time record for Premier League assists during an outstanding 2025-26 campaign, setting up 21 goals as he surpassed Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.
