Security guard assaulted after youths break into Luna Park
Five youths have forced their way into Luna Park before allegedly assaulting a security guard, who remains in hospital.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested over the alleged attack at the Sydney fun park about 1.30am on Thursday.
Police said the group broke into the theme park before being confronted by the guard, who asked the intruders to leave.
The five ignored the instructions, allegedly assaulted the 39-year-old security guard, then left the scene.
The security guard was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police arrested the 21-year-old man in The Rocks shortly after the alleged assault. He was taken for treatment at St Vincent’s Hospital, where he remains under police guard.
