Blue Bombers QB Zach Collaros misses another practice with head injury

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers might be missing their star quarterback for an important game.

Zach Collaros missed his second practice in a row on Tuesday with a head injury, per team reporter Ed Tait .

It's not a promising sign, considering the Blue Bombers are coming off a bye week. The 38-year-old Collaros, who has a history of head injuries, exited with the latest injury on Sept. 12 in a win against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Dru Brown replaced Collaros against Saskatchewan and would be in line to start Friday versus the visiting Toronto Argonauts (8-6) if the two-time CFL most outstanding player can't go.

Collaros also missed four games earlier this season with a neck injury.

The Blue Bombers (7-6) are tied for third in a tight West Division with the B.C. Lions.
