The person, who is biologically female, had visited the country several times prior and had even gotten engaged to a Canadian.
But after a year and a half of asylum proceedings, the applicant was met with rejection: just a couple of weeks ago, the Federal Court issued a decision green-lighting the individual’s deportation.
