Riley Green to perform the 2026 Grey Cup halftime show
The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced the 2026 Grey Cup halftime show in Calgary, with “Worst Way” country artist Riley Green set to perform.
The multi-platinum, ACM- and CMA award-winning country singer is known for his down-to-earth style and relatable songs. The singer-songwriter has earned six No. 1 hits at Canadian country radio, including the three-times-platinum “There Was This Girl” and six-times-platinum “Worst Way.”
Green has earned five Academy of Country Music Awards, including Top New Male Vocalist in 2020. He continued that momentum in 2025, emerging as one of the biggest winners at the 59th annual Country Music Association Awards, where his duet with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” took home Song of the Year, Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

He also made his acting debut in ‘Marshals’ and served as a coach on the 30th season of ‘The Voice’.
Green knows his way around a football field as well, having played quarterback for the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks before turning his attention to country music.
That’s not the only thing the CFL announced Thursday morning. Canadian music icon Sarah McLachlan is set to perform the national anthem, while the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will make their final flight over McMahon Stadium during the anthem.
Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo will have a special pregame performance. Blue Rodeo has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and was the fifth band to be honoured with a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. Blue Rodeo was also the halftime act at the 97th Grey Cup in 2009 in the Stampede City.
And finally, Canadian country musicians the James Barker Band will perform during the kickoff show as well. The Woodville, Ont., act has spent the past decade delivering its signature small-town sound to the national stage. The band is a two-time JUNO Award winner for Country Album of the Year.
The 113th Grey Cup will be played at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 15, with kickoff slated for 5 p.m. MT.
