One dead after SUV collides with combine on Siksika First Nation
A vehicle collision on Siksika First Nation has left two people injured and one dead, according to RCMP.
On Thursday, at approximately 4:55 p.m., Gleichen RCMP responded to a vehicle collision Highway 842 on Siksika First Nation. Officers were joined by EMS, fire and a Siksika Peace Officer to attend to the collision, which was between an SUV and a combine.
The SUV had three occupants, according to RCMP. The driver was taken to a Calgary hospital in serious condition, and the front passenger sustained minor injuries. The rear passenger, a 41-year-old Siksika First Natin resident, was declared deceased at the scene.
