Sherritt Provides Update on Calling of Shareholder Meeting

TORONTO -- Sherritt International Corporation (“Sherritt” or the “Corporation”) (TSX:S) today provided an update on the court application brought by Kyma Capital Limited ("Kyma") seeking to compel a shareholder meeting by the end of September 2026.

The Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) advised that it could not compel such a meeting within the timeframe requested by Kyma.
