Green, Labritz share lead after first round at Rogers Charity Classic
CALGARY — Richard Green and Rob Labritz carded rounds of 7-under-par 63 on Friday to sit tied atop the leaderboard after the first round of the Rogers Charity Classic.
Green eagled the par-five 18th hole to take the lead before Labritz closed his round by rolling in a lengthy birdie putt to pull even with the defending champion.
Green also had five birdies during his bogey-free round at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.
Starting on the 10th hole of the par-70, 7,086-yard course, Labritz had four birdies on the back nine before rolling in three more on the front nine.
