Zheng Qinwen made history at the China Open on Sunday, becoming the first Chinese player to win a singles title at the tournament.
The 24-year-old, who needed a wild card to take part after a miserable start to the season, downed favourite Mirra Andreeva in straight sets, winning 7-5, 6-4, to the delight of a partisan crowd in Beijing.
