Sichuan Heritage in young South Korean hands
25 university students from the Republic of Korea are visiting Sichuan alongside 25 Chinese peers as part of a 2026 youth exchange program.
Launched in 2025, the initiative brings young people in two countries together through lectures, field visits, practical activities and cultural exchange.
This year, programs are being held in Yunnan, Sichuan and Jiangxi, with 150 participants in total.
The Sichuan program explores technology, culture, green development and youth exchange.
In Chengdu, the group spent an afternoon learning about Sichuan's intangible cultural heritage through museum visits and craft workshops.
