Aggression and Aid Korea more than 70 years ago.

Preparation for the series began in 2023.

The creative team conducted extensive research in several Chinese cities, including Chengdu, Shenyang, Dandong and Cangzhou.

They interviewed veterans, their family members and personnel involved in implementing veterans' policies, gathering first-hand accounts to inform the story.

The series is directed by Zhang Li, known for acclaimed historical dramas such as Ming Dynasty in 1566, with Cheng Yi leading the cast.

On October 12, a launch meeting for the cast training program was held in Beijing.

The production team outlined its preparations and training plans, followed by discussions on the drama's creative approach and character development.

The meeting also featured 90-year-old Cao Jialin, whose real-life experiences served as a reference for the protagonist.
