Premier: China ready to align development strategies with Belarus

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Monday that China stands ready to strengthen the alignment of development strategies with Belarus and fully unleash the potential of their Agreement on Trade in Services and Investment.

Li made the remarks during a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin on the sidelines of the 25th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tajikistan.

Li noted China is willing to import more quality products from Belarus and supports Chinese enterprises investing and doing business in the country.

China also hopes that Belarus will provide Chinese firms with an open, transparent and predictable business environment, Li added. (With input from Xinhua)
