Global classical Chinese poetry short video contest opens for entries

About the Program: Some say poetry is the most beautiful expression of the Chinese language.

Li Bai, Du Fu, Bai Juyi, Su Shi, Li Qingzhao… who's your favorite icon of classical Chinese poetry? For the first time, Classical Chinese Poetry Contest – a prestigious cultural program in China – is opening its doors to contestants from around the world.

Building on a decade of brand heritage, China Media Group (CMG) proudly presents Classical Chinese Poetry Contest: International Edition, a major cultural exchange program built around the theme "United by Poetry, Across the World." International students in China and poetry lovers from abroad will come together to compete through recitation, quiz rounds and dramatized performances, revealing the depth of classical Chinese poetry and the cross-cultural resonance it inspires.
