Ulanqab steps up building green computing hub

Ulanqab, a grassland city on China's northern frontier, is emerging as one of the Asia-Pacific's fastest-growing AI computing hubs.

Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the city on October 16, with green computing high on the agenda.

Xi stressed Ulanqab's importance to building Digital China and developing new quality productive forces.

Industry players say they are ready to go further, while addressing some of the AI boom's biggest challenges.
