IFRC speaks to CGTN about Nepal-China cross-border mudslide
China has scaled up multi-agency rescue operations in harsh high-altitude terrain after a mudslide struck a port along the China-Nepal border in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.
Chinese officials said the disaster had claimed three lives while 558 other people remained missing as of this release.
David Fisher, head of the Nepali delegation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, or IFRC, spoke to CGTN about the latest on the ground.
