The PG & Research Department of Economics, Stella Maris College and See. Believe. Become. (SBB), a programme of the Global Shapers Community – Chennai Hub (GSC Chennai Hub), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen access to mentorship, skill development, and career exposure for women students of the Department of Economics on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by K. Mohanapriya, senior programme lead, Tamil Nadu Model Schools, as chief guest.

Sr. Stella Mary, Principal, Stella Maris College, presided over the event along with faculty members, mentors, students, and other key representatives from non-governmental organisations. The partnership aims to help students build communication and career readiness, equipping them with the skills and networks to navigate their transition from education to the world of work. It will also focus on first-generation learners and students from financially weaker sections.
