Anurag says patriotic and devotional films have a stranglehold on Bollywood

Anurag Kashyap says Bollywood now greenlights only patriotic or devotional films, calling it “a fact and a tragedy.” Backing the children’s film Little Thomas, releasing October 23, he calls himself an “enabler.” He hopes slice-of-life stories can still sneak in, and says making any film is difficult today.
