A UK mother-son duo spent £15,000 developing a vegan protein supplement before taking up kitchen fitting work to fund their first stock.

Founded in 2017, Free Soul has grown into a supplements business with £55 million annual turnover and 50 employees.

Its products are now sold through major UK retailers, including Tesco, Boots and Sainsbury's.
