Las Vegas developers buy 940 acres of former federal desert for $94 million; 6,000-home community planned

A large federal desert parcel near Las Vegas will become Monument Hills, a new master-planned community.

This development will feature up to 6,000 homes and various amenities for residents.

The $94 million land deal is the largest BLM transaction in the valley for decades.
