The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) Visakhapatnam Local Centre has announced the unanimous election of its new leadership committee for the 2026–2028 term.
Ch. Raju and Dumpala Bhujanga Rao have been unanimously elected as Chairman and Honorary Secretary, respectively, following a smooth electoral process adhering to the institution’s guidelines.
Corporate members participated in the proceedings. Senior engineers expressed confidence that the new leadership will advance regional engineering education, professional development, and industry-institute collaboration. Both newly elected office-bearers are senior academicians with long-standing ties to the Institution of Engineers (India).
The newly elected team is scheduled to officially assume office in October 2026.
