Netflix’s biggest layoffs in 4 yrs may come next week, here’s how many could lose jobs

Netflix layoffs could be announced as early as next week, with the streaming giant reportedly planning to cut about 5% of its workforce, or around 850 jobs, as part of a wider restructuring, according to Puck News.

The Netflix job cuts would be its biggest since 2022 and come ahead of Q3 earnings on October 20, as slowing engagement, a falling stock and rising costs put pressure on co-CEO Ted Sarandos.
