Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs to Become Available in Thailand From October 16

Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission has introduced 11 regulations for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds, effective October 16.

The initial framework permits funds tracking Bitcoin and Ether, with listings restricted to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Fund managers must meet investment, custody, and investor protection requirements, while digital assets must be held with licensed Thai custodians.

The effective date does not guarantee that ETFs will begin trading immediately.
