Student protesters allege being taken to unknown location

Several student activists from AISF, SFI and KYS were detained by police during a protest march from Rajiv Chowk Metro station towards Janpath in Delhi’s Connaught Place.

Protesters were taken away in UP Police buses, with some SFI activists claiming they were being taken to an unknown location.

The detentions come a day after a protest at Raj Ghat, where a female police officer was seen pinning down a protester and holding them by the throat.
