Amazon Web Services has chosen Hyderabad alongside Berlin in Germany and Brazil’s Sao Paulo as the three new locations globally where it will be establishing AWS Builder Loft for developers.
The three cities will be joining San Francisco where it had launched the first AWS Builder Loft in July 2025 to take forward the concept of a permanent community space offering free workshops, networking events, pitch nights, content creation spaces, collaboration/co-working areas and event hosting for developers, students and tech professionals.
The expansion reflects fast-growing developer cities which are important talent and innovation hubs for each of the region. The AWS Builders Loft in Hyderabad will give Indian developers a dedicated space to upskill on AI, explore cloud-native architecture, and connect with peers building the next generation of applications in India, for India, and for the world, AWS said, sharing a blog on the expansion plan.
“Twenty years ago, AWS launched its first services and it was the builder community that believed in us from the very beginning. These spaces are our way of investing back in that community, giving developers a place to come together, build real things, and learn from each other,” said David Nalley, director of Developer Experience at AWS.
With AI transforming industries and reshaping software development, the Builder Loft will serve as a physical destination where builders can access technical expertise, exchange ideas, accelerate innovation, and bring real-world solutions to market, AWS said.
