NZ plan to experiment against India - 'We've got a different role for Allen'

New Zealand may use Finn Allen in the middle order during the ODI series against India as they prepare for the next World Cup.

Coach Rob Walter also highlighted fast-bowling workload management, with Will O'Rourke and Ben Sears recovering from injuries.

Lockie Ferguson will play the final two ODIs, while BJ Watling has joined as batting coach.
