Teresian College, Mysuru, will host ‘TERE-SCIex 2026 – Science Exhibition’ on Friday and Saturday on the college premises, providing students a platform to showcase innovative scientific models, experiments and interactive exhibits.
The exhibition, organised by the Science Department of the college, aims to foster scientific curiosity, creativity, innovation and experiential learning among students and the public.
A.V. Sanjeev Kumar, Associate Centre Head, Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DRDO-DIBT), Mysuru, will inaugurate the exhibition at 9.30 a.m. on Friday.
The exhibits will cover various aspects of science and technology, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, problem-solving and real-world applications. The exhibition seeks to encourage students to observe, question and experiment, while connecting classroom learning with practical applications.
The exhibition is open to high school and Pre-University students, undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, parents and members of the public. Visitors can interact with student presenters and explore the exhibits.
The initiative is part of the college’s efforts to promote experiential learning, scientific temper and socially relevant education, and encourage students to view science as a tool to understand and address challenges facing society and the environment.
