Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat on Thursday inaugurated a new dining hall at Dr. V.S. Krishna Government Junior College (Boys) in the city.
Mr. Sribharat observed that the presence of an institution offering Intermediate, Degree and Vocational education in a key part of the city was a positive development and would help make quality education more accessible to students.
“We will be truly happy when you [students] reach great heights in life and achieve success. Marks alone are not the measure of success. Along with the marks you score, what you learn and how you apply that knowledge in your life are equally important,” the MP said addressing the gathering.
He encouraged students not to focus solely on marks, but to develop a habit of continuous learning, broaden their knowledge, explore new areas and strengthen their skills.
The MP also said that he would visit the college again shortly to interact more closely with the students, understand their aspirations and ideas, and spend dedicated time with them.
